National Conference
2018 NFPW Conference

Sept. 6-8, 2018 – Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
The National Federation of Press Women sponsors a yearly conference hosted by a state affiliate.

History is what makes visiting Pennsylvania a unique experience. The nation was born in Philadelphia and saved at Gettysburg. It ushered in the Industrial Revolution in cities such as Bethlehem. We’ll explore these cities and more.

We’ve arranged some great tours before and after the conference. The pre-tour takes you to Philadelphia and Amish country where we will enjoy a traditional Amish country feast served family style. For the post-tour, you'll travel to Gettysburg, where you will move through the battlefields before exploring the Gettysburg Museum. For those who want a quick trip, we have day tours to visit area museums, including Martin Guitars and Crayola. On Thursday, join us for a walking tour of historic Bethlehem, where you will learn about the Moravians who founded the community. We’ll have you back in time for the general membership meeting at 1 p.m.

Registration for tours opens May 1.

We’re finalizing speaker and session details. You can check out who our speakers will be and what topics we’ve already lined up by visiting the website. We expect to open conference registration by May 15.

Hotel registration is now open. We’re staying at the newly renovated Comfort Suites in Bethlehem. The rate is $119 plus tax per night. Call the hotel at (610) 882-9700 and mention the National Federation of Press Women group block 2018. The cut-off date to make a reservation is Aug. 31.

We can’t wait to see you Pennsylvania!
